OBAMA SAYS: NO BAN ON FISHING

Earlier this week, several news agencies published various accounts of how the Obama Administration is intending to ban ‘sport’ and recreational fishing from coastal areas, Great Lakes and Inland waterways.  On March 11, an Obama administration spokesperson said, ” … there WILL BE NO BAN on FISHING ….” We can all feel relieved, since President Obama is truthful in communicating what he intends to do in America.  At a time when most Americans want a reduction in government spending, President Obama is planning another huge increase in government growth and the control it will bring to our lives; this time, in the name of ‘conservation’.  The subject of ‘no fishing’ does not even scratch the surface of what is behind this ‘scare’.

In November of 2008, soon-to-be President Obama was given a 391-page report that provides “Environmental Transition Recommendations for the Obama Administration.”  This document is titled, Transition To Green.  Among the many (29) contributors for this report are Greenpeace, Population Action International and Population Connection (these last two organizations have ‘population control’ interests).  This document also calls for “Marine Protected Areas” (MPAs) on page 364.  This comprehensive report details how control of ‘climate change’ and ‘global warming’ would be integrated in all facets of government, including tasking the Coast Guard and the Department of Justice with new enforcement in these areas.  Most readers will recall that recently, the Al Gore ‘science’ of Man-Caused Global Warming has been de-bunked for the fraud that it is.

 Just three months ago, The White House Council on Environmental Quality issued a report entitled, “Interim Framework for Effective Coastal and Marine Spatial Planning“, by the ‘Interagency Ocean Policy Task Force’ (December 9, 2009).  In this 35-page document, we find a new ‘law enforcement’ agency,  the ‘National Ocean Council’ (NOC) will be the enforcement arm of the Interagency Ocean Policy Task Force.  Coastal and Marine Spatial Planning (CMSP) authority is based in “federal statutes” and will oversee planning for the use of all ocean, coastal and Great Lakes environments.  Page 11 of this report shows a map of North America and the Pacific Islands and how America and the islands are divided into 9 Regional Planning Areas.  It is unknown at this time, how many new government employees will be needed to staff the positions to regulate, oversee and enforce the directives of this CMS bureaucracy and the NOC.  This report was written by Global Warming proponents in government, including Jane Lubchenco, Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere (and is the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration — NOAA).  Ms Lubchenco is well credentialed as a marine biologist but she is also closely tied to such ‘environmental’ organizations as the Environmental Defense Fund (as a trustee) and the Pew Oceans Commission.

On February 12, 2010, the dead line arrived for public comments to the Ocean Policy Task Force (established by President Obama in 2009).  This Task Force was charged with bringing:

 … together what is now often conflicting and competing agencies and laws that govern the oceans, coasts and the Great Lakes. The US has 95,000 miles of coastline and over half of the population lives in coastal counties, according to the US Council on Environmental Quality.

 The task force is now moving toward finalizing its recommendations to send to the President’s desk. Today is the last day for the public to comment on the policy. The recommendations could have wide-ranging impacts on environmental preservation, jobs, transportation and national security. It could also affect oil drilling and climate change policies.

So, where does the scare take place that deals with President Obama and the fishing industry?  Robert Montgomery (ESPNOutdoors.com) on March 10, 2010 wrote:

And that philosophy by a group attempting to develop public policy is, indeed, a threat to the future of recreational angling. It is especially so in light of the fact that confidential sources suggest that an Executive Order empowering the National Ocean Council might have been drafted — although not released — even before the latest public comment period ended.

Recreational angling is enjoyed annually by an estimated 60 million Americans, most of whom are good stewards of the resource. They contribute hundreds of millions of dollars for fisheries’ conservation through license fees and excise taxes. They want to see pollution reduced, commercial by-catch eliminated, and aquatic habitats better protected.

And:

Overall, recreational angling generates more than $45 billion in retail sales annually, with a $125 billion impact on the nation’s economy, creating employment for more than one million people. According to ASA, if fishing were a corporation, it would have ranked 47th on the 2007 Fortune 500 list, ahead of Microsoft and Time Warner.

President Obama claims to be an environmentalist but fails to do the right thing in dealing with an urgent and impending disaster.  Here is one example of  Obama’s “just words, just speeches” methodology:  The Case of the Asian Carp.  This prolific and dangerous fish threatens the unique ecosystem of the Great Lakes and the multi-billion dollar commercial and sport fishing industries of that area.  A single Asian carp was found in a commercial waterway that links the Mississippi River with Lake Michigan last December.  The Asian carp must not gain access to the Great Lakes.  For this urgent problem, the President voted ‘Present’ and ordered a 5-year study of the situation.  The President is not being a good shepherd of our environment with this course of action.

President Obama has shown he will pursue one course of action, while planning and doing something just the opposite.  Obama has outright lied to the American public while on camera and has been called out (by Congressmen and a Supreme Court Justice) at times for those lies.  Can we trust the President to do what he says he will do (“no ban on fishing”) or is this just a play on words?  Over a million jobs in the commercial and sport fishing industry are on the line (private industry, not government jobs).  To keep that 1 million jobs in perspective:  each month that Obama is President, between 300,000 and 600,000 Americans are put out of work.  In addition, the President’s lust for growing the size and reach of the federal government seems to know no boundaries with this new ‘control’ organization, the National Ocean Council and the 9 Regional Planning areas of the Coastal and Marine Spatial Planning. 

Perhaps, ‘Red’ truly is the real color of these new ‘Green’ jobs the President will be creating by growing the government in this way.  Is this what America was led to ‘believe’ would happen when Obama won the election in 2008, under the guise of ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’?  Is this what America wants now and for our future?

CHINA: GROWING SUPERPOWER & THREAT TO AMERICA (with video)

“To save itself, to save the world, China must prepare to become the (world’s) helmsman”, according to the recently published book by China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Senior Colonel, Liu Mingfu.  To fund all of the military development, China has become the third largest economy on the planet, after United States and Japan (2008).  China is also the largest trading nation in the world and the largest exporter and the second largest importer of goods.  The road to the present has undertaken many significant changes since 1949 and the rule of Chairman Mao.

During the internal power struggles of the Communist leader, Mao Zedung, Mao murdered and/or starved to death as many as 46 million of his countrymen during the twenty years he had the greatest influence on the government, ridding the country of ‘intellectuals’ and people who did not ‘think right’.  This was also a time when China was exporting their form of Communism throughout the world.  During this ‘Cultural Revolution’, China detonated their first Hydrogen Bomb in 1967 and they launched their first  Dong Fang Hong satellite on January 30, 1970.  China was quickly developing into a powerful nation, even 40 years ago.

Another former Chinese leader, Deng Xiaoping, had rejected Mao Zedung’s policy of imposing the Chinese version of the brave new world of communism worldwide. Instead, the Middle Kingdom was to tread carefully and build up its strength.  China has been increasing its use of oil by 20% per year and its automobile market is increasing by a whopping 50% per year.  China uses more coal per year than any other country on the planet, burning about 300 MILLION tons more than America. 

‘Adopt a low profile and never take the lead,’ Deng advised. The main goal of foreign policy was to ensure that China was not regarded as a threat to anyone, including the United States. China needed a presence throughout the world but this was to ensure an uninterrupted flow of oil and raw materials to the motherland. 

 This phase is now over. China has gained the self-confidence to undertake new ventures and to act as a great power. A symbiotic relationship is developing with the United States because the two countries are dependent on one another economically. President Obama’s recent visit to China underlined the fact that Beijing has become very self-confident in dealing with Washington. For example, human rights’ violations are being played down by stating that Tibet and Xinjiang are domestic Chinese concerns.

To fund the expansion of industry, China has been exporting weapon systems (high-tech jet fighters, surface-to-air missiles and other missile systems) to anyone who will buy them, including America’s Muslim enemies in Iran.

China has the world’s largest stockpile of available cash, more than $2.3 trillion dollars, as some estimates show.  About 70% of that, slightly more than $1.6 trillion is in American dollars and this gives China a huge financial weapon to use against us.  Americans are paying about $450 billion per year to service our debt to China; without these loans, our income taxes would be 40% lower. 

Because of its huge hold on America, including owning about $376 billion dollars in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debt, American taxpayers had to ‘bail-out’ Fannie and Freddie, last year.  It should also be noted that the management of those two institutions were overseen in the Congress by Senator Dodd and Rep. Barney Frank.  The actual management teams ‘earned’ many millions of dollars while causing them to fail.

China is also diversifying its investments worldwide in oil.  At a time when the world economy is depressed, China is buying and making deals for future oil resources, locking in price structures for decades in the future.  From Nu Wire Investor, we find:

 China’s leaders know that they must lock up oil supplies at a time when the Western world can’t seemingly be bothered to understand that this is a zero-sum game. In other words, China views the global financial crisis as an opportunity to be exploited for economic gain and the security of its people, not as a problem to be solved. China understands the big picture, and even though we apparently painted it, the West doesn’t.  By scouring the earth for oil at a time when the West is hamstrung by the global financial crisis, not only is China able to strike more favorable deals at more favorable prices, but it’s locking up huge supplies of commodities for its own use for years, even decades, to come. In doing so – and this is the part of the equation so many experts don’t get – these resources are no longer available for our use here in the United States, which has major supply and pricing implications for this market.

Is it any wonder why China is making deals with American Presidents to obtain our ‘dual-use’ technologies?  During the Clinton administration, the sales of ‘sensitive technologies’ was transferred from the State Department to the Commerce Department.  Commerce Secretary, Ron Brown “opened the door to everything but the kitchen sink’, according to Softwar, Inc (2001):

The nineties, however, were quite different. The Department of State and the Pentagon approached the GAO in 1995 with a request to study the Commerce Department approval of dual use technology sales to China. The GAO report concluded that Ron Brown had more or less opened the door to everything but the kitchen sink. Secretary Brown’s Far East commerce trips corresponded with each new batch of approvals for dual use, advanced US technology. The assertions by Mr. Brown that the US products would be monitored behind the bamboo curtain were simply pipe dreams since the Chinese would not allow such follow ups.

In late February, 1996, the Chinese Warlords were finally able to buy their way into the White House when Wang Jun entered for a coffee with President Clinton. Wang would donate $690,000 to the Democratic National Committee in a quiet effort to reward those who have helped China. Wang, a son of the ruling class in China, had far more than a few checks in his pocket. Wang has also been accused of attempting to smuggle 2,000 fully automatic AK-47s to Florida drug gangs. Wang Jun’s history as an arms dealer is world renowned. It was Wang who set up the original delicate deal with Russia to buy the SA-10 Grumble. Wang was among a host of other unsavory characters to pass through the White House and leave a check. Wang’s credentials as a dealer in billion dollar weaponry were well established long before 1996.

Today, President Clinton says he knew nothing of all this.

Is he serious? Are not missiles and world domination the very essence of Presidential power? Did the warnings issued over the last few years by various sources, ranging from the GAO to the Pentagon, fall on deaf ears at the White House? One would expect the President would at least familiarize himself with people he was about to meet. A simple briefing on Wang Jun would have set alarm bells off in a heartbeat. In fact, his administration took the money and went back to sleep. Like a guard-dog bribed with a t-bone steak the Clinton administration ignored the threat and took the cash. Now US pilots are tracked by Chinese missiles equipped with US technology and US cities are threatened by nuclear tipped missiles guided by US science.

We have been unable to locate any evidence that shows President George W. Bush made any ‘dual-use’ technology or weapons systems technology sales to China during his 8 years in office.

China tests anti-satellite missile and successfully shoots down one of their own satellites (video 1:18) using a ground-based missile.

President Obama has been quite active in his desires to sell ‘dual-use’ technologies to China, masking such sales as providing jobs and being good for industry.  However, security experts in America do not see things the same way President Obama does.  From The Washington Times (January 27, 2010):

Gary Milhollin, director of the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control, said he is concerned the new policy will be skewed toward promoting business at the expense of U.S. national security.

“This new policy is a giant push by industry to export technology that was developed by taxpayer dollars for defense purposes,” Mr. Milhollin said. “This also appears to include a push to decontrol manufacturing technology for defense items, which if carried out, will send high-tech defense jobs overseas.”

He added: “If industry gets its way, and we drop controls on dual-use technology, then [other countries] will do the same. It will be impossible to keep dangerous items out of the hands of the Iranians and the Chinese.”

Edward Timperlake, a former Pentagon technology-security specialist, said there is broad agreement that export controls need reform, but warned that the national-security risks are proven by the aggressive efforts foreign spies make to steal or illegally acquire U.S. defense technology. These efforts could be made redundant and U.S. counterintelligence pointless if the goods become freely available.

“The counterintelligence challenge has been to stop military technology from falling into the hands of Chinese intelligence agents,” Mr. Timperlake said. “And now it is possible that the effort could be undermined by a new policy that puts the entire program in doubt.”

The Scowcroft report, “Beyond ‘Fortress America’: National Security Controls on Science and Technology in a Globalized World,” stated that current export controls “now quietly undermine our national security and our national economic well-being.”  

 Note that the Scowcroft report was developed by the Scowcroft Group, Inc.  More background on Brent Scowcroft shows he is now a highly paid lobbyist for not only big business but for entire countries (China?):

He is the founder and president of The Forum for International Policy, a think tank. Scowcroft is also President of The Scowcroft Group, Inc., an international business consulting firm. He is co-chair, along with Joseph Nye, of the Aspen Strategy Group. He is a member of the Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, a board member of The Center for Strategic and International Studies and The Atlantic Council of the United States.

China is looking after its interests on the world stage and in so doing, has become intimately involved in America’s economy.  It is as though Americans have an economic sledge hammer poised over our heads, waiting to be financially crushed at the whims of Communist China.  But that’s not all:  Through the purchase and theft of the technologies it needed, China has very quickly modernized its military capabilities and has exported those military technologies on a global scale.  It is no wonder that China is the economic mega-powerhouse that it has become, and has assured itself of energy resources for the next 50 years.

Since 1949, China has demonstrated that it can easily murder tens of millions of its own citizens, in order to accomplish its political goals.  It can now blind American satellites at any time.  China will soon be in a position to be ‘the world’s helmsman’ when it can use its military and economic power and abundant energy resources to cause or prevent American actions, rendering America a ‘superpower’ that is unable to act in its own defense.  China’s strategy is in place and unless our leadership changes their short-term thinking and begins moving toward long-term goals of strength and energy independence, America may forever be changed.  We have to ask ourselves:  As Americans, do we want to live in a country dominated by Communist China?

CONGRESS BANS INCANDESCENT BULBS IN FAVOR OF POISONOUS CFLs: Duped by global warming madness (w/video)

In the middle of December of 2007, our government was duped into believing that man-caused global warming was going to bake us to death and that our elite Congress and President just had to ‘do something’ about it.  They did.  By passing the Energy Independence and Security Act, signed by President Bush(43) on December 19, 2007, our ‘representative’ government effectively outlawed the incandescent light bulb.  The new lighting source seems to be the Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL), made in Communist China.  The party-line Legislators who support this hysteria are Political Lemmings.

When Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) learned of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessment report (released 02/02/2007), she signaled Congress’ intent to act during her remarks before the Committee: “We hold our children’s future in our hands – not our grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, but our own children.  As the most adaptable creatures on the planet, it is time for us to adapt,” stated Pelosi.

From the U.S. House Committee on Science and Technology: 

The IPCC report noted that our climate is changing and we need to take immediate action to understand how best to adapt to those changes.  The report found that our climate’s rising temperatures have made hurricanes stronger, sea levels rise, and affected regional climate patterns – to name only a few affects.

One of the chief and most outspoken proponents of man-caused global warming is former Vice-President Al Gore.  Al Gore has done well for himself hawking ‘the earth is burning’ concept world-wide.  From the year 2000, public servant Gore has increased his personal worth from $1Million in the bank to over $100 Million (Nov. 2007) as ‘Consultant’ Gore.  Al Gore may be the first ‘Carbon Credits’ Billionaire, especially if our government converts tax dollars to Carbon Credits and begins to trade them on the open market.  Can you say:  ‘profit motive’, when it comes to man-caused global warming and Al Gore?

Al Gore sued by over 30,000 Scientists for Global Warming fraud,  John Coleman, a real climate scientist and founder of The Weather Chanel asserts,  (5:24 video):

From Gore’s influence and the often-proven corrupt United Nations IPCC report, 379 out of 545 Congressmen and Senators voted to remove the incandescent light bulb from America.  The President signed this horrible legislation to law.  The phased withdrawal of incandescent bulbs begins in 2012, with the 100watt bulbs and in the following two years, all of the bulbs will become illegal, ending in 2014, with the lowly 40watt bulbs.  Do any of you, good readers remember your Congressman or Senator asking what you think about this legislation?  I do not; no town hall meetings were held on this subject that affects us all.

We are now urged by the various networks:  MSNBC, CNBC & NBC to buy CFLs because they will protect the planet from ‘greenhouse gasses’ and be energy efficient.  General Electric owns the above-mentioned networks and imports the Communist China-made CFLs for sale in America.  There is a huge profit margin with CFLs and that is why GE Lighting has eliminated more than 70% of the American jobs in manufacturing incandescent light bulbs.  The former GE CEO, Jack Welsh, now ‘earns’ $800,000 per month in retirement.  Business is good at GE.

GE and others tell us that the CFLs are more efficient and last a long time.  The CFLs do use less electricity but also produce less light and poor quality light, too.  These CFL units do not work very well in cold climates and, even indoors, may take as long as 3 minutes to ‘warm-up’.  The long life claims, up to five years, decrease drastically if the CFLs are cycled on-and-off with less than 15 minutes run time; the actual life may be only 15% of what is advertised.  We note that the testing is done primarily in China, by the carefully controlled circumstances of their special and reliable test laboratories.

No need to worry about  Greenhouse Gases in the environment when you have CFLs in your home.  However, there is the concern about the mercury vapor within the CFL escaping, should you happen to break one of these Toxin Bombs in your home.  From the EPA website:

An individual is exposed to elemental mercury “when elemental mercury is spilled or products that contain elemental mercury break and expose mercury to the air.” Exposure to mercury can lead to the following symptoms: “tremors; emotional changes (e.g., mood swings, irritability, nervousness, excessive shyness); insomnia; neuromuscular changes (such as weakness, muscle atrophy, twitching); headaches; disturbances in sensations; changes in nerve responses; performance deficits on tests of cognitive function. At higher exposures there may be kidney effects, respiratory failure and death.”

The Washington Times reported on May 3, 2007, that it cost one Maine family $2,004.28 to clean up the toxic mess from just one broken CFL, and that it would “take 16,667 cubic meters of soil to ‘safely’ contain all the mercury in a single CFL.” But, for those who don’t want to pay to have the toxic mess cleaned up, the Times article explained the procedures for cleaning up the mess from a broken CFL, according to the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The procedure is provided on the Maine DEP’s Web page entitled, “What if I accidentally break a fluorescent bulb in my home?” According to the site, if you break a CFL:
Don’t vacuum bulb debris because a standard vacuum will spread mercury-containing dust throughout the area and contaminate the vacuum. Ventilate the area and reduce the temperature. Wear protective equipment like goggles, coveralls and a dust mask. Collect the waste material into an airtight container. Pat the area with the sticky side of tape. Wipe with a damp cloth. Finally, check with local authorities to see where hazardous waste may be properly disposed.

In September 2009, the European Union banned the sale of 100-watt incandescent light bulbs, with lawbreakers facing up to $70,000 in fines.  The ‘Nanny State’ is here now (2 minute video):

 

It may seem like this subject matter of CFLs and Global Warming are old and no longer ‘current events’. With the greater acceptance that the United Nations climate studies are corrupt and the ‘consultant’ expert Al Gore is showing his ‘business’ side more than his looking out for America-side, this subject is once again fresh.  As Americans, do we want to be forced to purchase expensive and toxic goods made in Communist China or do we want to purchase more useful technologies that are ‘Made in America”.  It seems like there is a huge collusion of forces behind this fraudulent global-warming hysteria and President Obama is striving to “not let a crisis go to waste” by milking the Progressives’ caused panic for all that it is worth.  All in Congress who still believe in Man-Caused Global Warming are Political Lemmings–incapable of independant thought.   Maybe, it is a good time to get our legislators to repeal the CFL rules.  Contact your legislators about this (as I have), if you feel as angry with your Senators and Congressmen as I do.

MUSLIMS IN OUR MILITARY: Can we trust them? (video)

After the cowardly Muslim Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001, Americans have become aware of how different Muslims are in their belief systems, as compared with other political systems like the one we enjoy here in America, land of ‘In God We Trust’.  The recent revelation of the plot to poison the food supply by Muslim Translators  at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, has once again brought up questions of Muslim Jihadi infiltration of our military.

First of all, let’s look at the reliability of Muslims and their ability to hold to swearing an oath to protect and defend America and our Constitution.  In Islam, there is a practice known as Al-taqiyya, which deals with encouraged lying to non-Muslims:

Al-taqiyya and dissimulation are words used for a practice of Muslims blatantly lying to non-Muslims.  In Islam, salvation is determined by ‘good works’. This means that when a Muslim lies to a non-Muslim, the Muslim is doing a’good work’ to earn salvation. It is almost equivalent to a Christian accepting Jesus as his savior. One of the big differences is that a Christian only needs to accept Jesus as his savior once to become saved forever but a Muslim must do his ‘good works’ consistently and repeatedly to earn his salvation with the except of the greatest work of dying while fighting non-Muslims.

Next, here is the program  (hot link for video below–if video does not show, try this link) the Muslim Soldier-trainees are involved in at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, the 09 Lima Program  (from Military Operational Specialty 09L).  These Muslims have variable English language skills and are induced to participate, in part, for the promise of fast-track American citizenship, if they serve as little as just one actual duty-day (not training).  Just before Christmas, five 09L soldiers who were part of the Arabic translation program at Fort Jackson were investigated after they were allegedly overheard discussing plans to poison food at the base.  At this point in time, three of those five Arab-language soldiers have been ‘cleared’ of wrong doing.  Keep in mind the practice of al-taqiyya, above:

For the past ten years, the military has intensified the recruitment efforts to enlist Arabic-, Farsi- and Pashtun-speaking soldiers for Middle East deployments.  The Defense Department has reported 3,409 Muslims on active duty, as of April 2008.  However, some officials said the true numbers could be as high as 12,000 Muslims in our military force of 1.4 Million personnel.

The Pentagon continues to receive reports of Muslim soldiers who expressed opposition to the U.S. military campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq. The soldiers  said the opposition was encouraged by Islamic clerics as well as Muslim officers such as Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who warned Muslims against harming co-religionists.

As an example of  Muslim protest against our military conducting war against Islam, U. S. Army Sgt. Hasan Akbar attacked other Army personnel at a pre-deployment camp in Kuwait (2003).  It should be noted that Akbar was raised in the rough Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles and enlisted in the Army after receiving his BS in BOTH Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering degrees from University of California, Davis.  Akbar also converted to Islam as an adult (changing his name from Mark Fidel Kools):

At “… Camp Pennsylvania in Kuwait, using stolen grenades and a rifle, because he was concerned that troops would kill Muslims in Iraq. They said he coolly carried out the attack on the 101st Airborne Division to achieve “maximum carnage.””

 Sgt. Hasan Akbar was found guilty of his willful and pre-meditated attack and murder of two of his comrades and the attempted murder of 14 others and sentenced to be executed.

We have to remember the November 2009  Jihadi attack that took place at Fort Hood, Texas, where Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a psychiatrist, armed himself with two pistols and lots of ammunition and attacked un-armed men and women soldiers who were standing in lines at a soldier processing location.  After yelling, “Allahu Akbar” (meaning, the Muslim God, Allah, is superior to all other Gods), Maj. Hasan began shooting into the soldiers.  I should point out that Maj. Hasan had taken advanced marksmanship training for pistols, prior to this attack that wounded 30 and killed 13 (plus an unborn, viable child).  From World Tribune.com:

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, born in the United States and alleged to have killed 13 soldiers in the army base at Fort Hood, Texas, did not identify himself as a Muslim when he enlisted. Officials said Hasan was recruited as part of a U.S. military drive to reach out to the Muslim community[?]. Officials said the Defense Department and Joint Chiefs of Staff plan to discuss an examination of the Muslim presence in the U.S. military and the threat of Al Qaida influence. They said the Congress was pressing for such a review in wake of the Nov. 5 killing of 13 U.S. troops by a Muslim officer.

Some in Congress have called for clear guidelines on allowing soldiers to express political views in the military. They said Hasan’s pro-jihad views were tolerated by officers concerned over charges of discrimination.

After the most recent U.S. Military Personnel Jihadi attack, conducted by Maj. Nidal Hasan, Senator Joseph Lieberman, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and the Government Affairs Committee stated:  “I want to say very quickly we don’t know enough to say now, but there are very, very strong warning signs here that Dr. Hasan had become an Islamist extremist and, therefore, that this was a terrorist act.”

Officials acknowledged that Hasan underwent an investigation in April 2009 on suspicion that he had adopted Al Qaida doctrine of holy war against the West. They said Hasan was suspected of trying to contact Al Qaida via the Internet. (WorldTribune.com)

Patrick Poole, a counter-terrorism specialist and advisor to government and law enforcement, cautions that the military must stop dismissing warnings of Jihadist infiltration of the military service.  “Public affairs and equal opportunity officials” are too often showing a “professional ignorance” of domestic terrorism, Poole commented to Washington Times.  “My colleagues and I have been warning of jihadist threats – both external and internal – for several years.”

Poole continued, “The Pentagon has entirely ignored us, and the Ft. Hood report released last month is evidence of the culture of willful blindness that wants to pretend this threat doesn’t exist. Regardless of how the Ft. Jackson incident is resolved, it demonstrates that this threat is not going away.”

Given the deadly effectiveness of our military’s weapons systems (including artillary and fighter-bomber jets), it is extremely important that the service members be loyal to America and our Constitution.  For members of Islam, the Qur’an is the first loyalty, no law is above the Qur’an.  It is doctrine that through Al-taqiyya, that Muslims will lie with a clear conscience (this fools the polygraph machine) to non-Muslims to further the cause of Islam, that includes swearing oaths.

In the final analysis, I do not know how Muslims in the military can be trusted completely.  Their first obligation to serve the political ideology of Islam.   From Senator Joseph Lieberman:  “”If [Maj.] Hasan was showing signs, saying to people that he had become an Islamist extremist, the U.S. Army has to have zero tolerance. He should have been gone.”  There it is.  Why does our President ignore this threat to our safety?

THE DECLINE & FALL OF BARACK OBAMA

President Obama has been steadily declining in popularity for the past 12 months, according to a new CNN poll.  One year ago, Obama held a 76% approval rating but has slipped by 27% over just one year, to only 49%.  Conversely, the President’s disapproval ratings have been on the rise.  From an initial disapproval rating of just 23%, this inexperienced President now has fully 50% of the population disapproving of his performance.

The winds of change are already blowing against President Obama for his re-election bid in 2012.  52% of Americans think he does not deserve to keep his current job.  In one year, it is likely that more than 75% of the country will be eager to see President Obama retire from office, rather than seek re-election.

It is no wonder that President Obama is becoming increasingly unpopular with Americans:  In his first year in office, he has shattered the previous spending records of all first-year Presidents by $3.5 Trillion dollars.  Of course, this spending increased our National Debt by about that same amount (how will it be paid down?).   There does not seem to be any effective accounting of where thousands of millions of dollars went.   Unemployment was at about 7% in January 2009, when Obama was sworn into Office; in just one year of his leadership, the National Unemployment Rate is now more than 18% and rising. 

President Obama is having difficulties in leading America’s war against the attacking Muslim Jihadis in Iraq and Afghanistan; his indecisiveness, pondering and overly restrictive Rules of Engagement (ROE) have killed many Americans and have shown the enemies that America is a weak, paper tiger (in their eyes).  As a result of that perception, Muslim terrorist attacks and attempted attacks are on the rise in America.  We are told that the passengers of the commercial airliners are a part of the National Defense strategy of this President.  Obama expects a family flying together on the way to Orlando, Florida is going to thwart a Jihadi terrorist attack (because Obama does not want to offend Muslims with behavior-based ‘Threat Profiling’ at airports).  Not much confidence in our President results from this attitude.

In the coming 12 months, it is foreseeable that President Obama will continue to fall in popularity among the people and Democrat members of Congress.  Likely, several members of Congress will distance themselves from President Obama’s shadow, as they strive to keep their $174,000/yr. jobs in the November elections, less than 10 months away.  It is possible that fewer than 25% of Americans will give President Obama a favorable mark next January.  If that is the case, perhaps the President will take that as a C-L-U-E and retire from the Office, instead of going on to an embarrassing defeat in 2012.  Now, there is ‘Hope’, after all.

REMEMBER WHO ATTACKED US AND WHY THEY DID IT (with disturbing video)

Most Americans can tell you what they were doing the moment they learned of the Muslim Terrorist attack on that Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001.  Psychologists have a term for it, ‘Flashbulb Memory’.  Like the term implies, the memory event is seared into us and may stay for a lifetime.  We are not very often reminded about the events of that day and, in fact there is a campaign to hijack the ‘Day of Remembering’ and that campaign is run by the Obama Administration, with support by the Main Stream Media (MSM).

We must be clear that the group of people who attacked us did so because they hate America and everything America stands for.  We are known as the ‘Great Satan’.  The people who attacked us were Muslims (just to remind those who forgot) and there are a great many Muslims in the world that cheered and danced in the streets on the day we were attacked, some of those ‘dancers’ celebrating that attack were in America.  Americans should never forget that day and the horrors brought to us by a group of people implementing the political philosophy of Islam.  The following video shows scenes of the 9/11 Muslim Terrorist attack and may be disturbing for some viewers.  At the end of the video, you will also see video from the Muslim Terrorist attacks in Madrid, Spain and London, England. 

Americans should be focused on the continuation and survival of our way of life and that ‘way’ is threatened by what the Muslim-apologists refer to as ‘Radical Islam’.  Radical Islam is nothing more than the following of Islam the way Muhammad followed Islam, in accordance with the Qur’an and Suras, including Shariah.  It is said that the majority of Muslims are ‘peaceful’ and that there are about 2 Billion Muslims on Planet Earth.  There are ‘only’ 10% or so of the Muslims that are ‘Radicalized’ (follow Muhammad’s Islam), that would be about 200 Million Muslims that want to actively see us dead (it is much more likely that there are more than 200 million in the ‘radicalized’ camp).

In an effort to distract Americans from remembering who attacked us on that peaceful and beautiful September morning, President Obama has re-christened September 11 from a somber Day of Remembering the events of tragedy and patriotism (Flight 93 passengers fighting back to prevent the Muslim terrorists from crashing the airliner into the Capital or White House), to a National Day of Service.

 Matthew Vadum wrote a piece in the American Spectator entitled, “Obama’s Plan to Desecrate 9/11“.  This is a small part of what Vadum found:

The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.

This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year’s election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it’s not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing. 

It is fundamental for all Americans to keep in mind the enemy who has selected to go to war with us.  Our enemy has no borders and is not identified by any ‘uniform’ or country.  The enemy follows a conquering political ideology and will readily kill thousands of women and children of their own religion (Islam) to get their way, which is the killing and terrorizing of Americans.  Our enemy is willing to surgically implant explosives inside their bodies in an effort to defeat our airport security scanners to later detonate themselves to bring down an airliner (and there are no scanners that can detect this new threat).  Our enemy is dedicated to defeating us. 

 As Americans, we must demand that our federal government become just as dedicated to protecting us and defeating those who wish to kill us.  Close the borders between the legal Ports-of-Entry, to shut-off the easy smuggling routes and tunnels the Drug Cartel gangsters use for smuggling the thousands of Middle Eastern Jihadis and explosives into America.  Airport security must implement Terrorist Threat Profiling, just as Israel has successfully employed, long ago.  Finally, we must never forget that September day in 2001, when our guard was down and 19 Muslim men killed 3,000 people in America in less than four hours.

NANCY PELOSI: PATRIOT OR LIAR?

There has been a controversy going on for the past few years that involves long time Congresswoman, Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca.) and the CIA, for the provided  briefings she received.  Rep. Pelosi claims she did not understand that the briefings, specifically one held on September 4, 2002, covered current activities and those in the very recent past as those activities relate to interrogating captured Al Qaeda Jihadists that were captured on the battlefield.  Pelosi has stated in front of rooms full of news reporters that the CIA lied to her and about her.  What do you think? 

Background:  Since 1987, Nancy Pelosi has represented California’s Eighth District in the House of Representatives. The Eighth District includes most of the City of San Francisco including Golden Gate Park, Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, and many of the diverse neighborhoods that make San Francisco a vibrant and prosperous community. On January 4, 2007, Nancy Pelosi was elected Speaker of the United States House of Representatives (Speaker of the House is third in line to be the President, in case the current President and Vice-President are killed). 

As a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence for 10 years (the longest continuous period of service in the committee’s history) including two years as the Ranking Democrat, Pelosi worked to ensure that policymakers and military commanders are provided with the timely and accurate intelligence necessary to guide diplomatic initiatives, succeed in combat, and protect U.S. military forces. 

Speaker Pelosi has been around for a while and is not a stupid person, even though she does say and do some seemingly stupid things.  Pelosi’s long association with the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence shows she is very familiar with the CIA and their briefing methods both before and after that terrible Muslim terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.  The briefing in the greatest contention is the one that took place on September 4, 2002.  By the way, these briefings were so secret in content that they were provided to just 4 members of Congress (the Gang of Four), from the House and Senate Intelligence Committees.  One of the other members that was with Pelosi at these briefings was Congressman Porter J. Goss (R-Fla.), chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (1997-2004).  Congressman Goss was later appointed Director of the CIA, from September 2004-May 2006. 

Obviously, after the Muslim terrorist attack on 9/11, the majority focus was on stopping Al-Qaeda and their associates.  The CIA briefed the Congressional Committees that oversee the Intelligence Services and introduced the CIAs ‘High Value Terrorist Program’ and some of the various enhanced interrogation techniques (EIT), including what would be termed ‘waterboarding’.

Last spring (April 2009), Porter Goss penned an Op-Ed in the Washington Post and this is a little of what he recalled of the time:

Today, I am slack-jawed to read that members claim to have not understood that the techniques on which they were briefed were to actually be employed; or that specific techniques such as “waterboarding” were never mentioned. It must be hard for most Americans of common sense to imagine how a member of Congress can forget being told about the interrogations of Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed. In that case, though, perhaps it is not amnesia but political expedience.

Let me be clear. It is my recollection that:

— The chairs and the ranking minority members of the House and Senate intelligence committees, known as the Gang of Four, were briefed that the CIA was holding and interrogating high-value terrorists.

— We understood what the CIA was doing.

— We gave the CIA our bipartisan support.

— We gave the CIA funding to carry out its activities.

— On a bipartisan basis, we asked if the CIA needed more support from Congress to carry out its mission against al-Qaeda.

I do not recall a single objection from my colleagues. They did not vote to stop authorizing CIA funding. 

Recently the organization, Judicial Watch, has successfully sued through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to have the CIA provide documents regarding the Pelosi/Congressional “Torture Briefings” to Judicial Watch by April 15, 2010: 

“This federal court order is a victory for transparency in the face of Obama administration stonewalling to protect Speaker Pelosi,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “We’re looking forward to completing the public record regarding what Speaker Pelosi knew about the use of enhanced interrogation techniques and when she knew it.”

In April 2009 Speaker Pelosi admitted she was briefed on the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques,” including waterboarding, but was not aware they had already been used. The CIA contradicted Pelosi’s claim, pointing to a briefing they held with the speaker on September 4, 2002, and a subsequent briefing to her top staffer. On July 14, 2009, Judicial Watch filed a separate, successful FOIA lawsuit against the CIA to obtain records from the Office of former Vice President Cheney related to CIA interrogation techniques. 

The time is quickly approaching where Speaker Nancy Pelosi is going to be found out to have put Democrat Party politics ahead of National Security.  In this case, America loses, our National Security is reduced and Nancy Pelosi will be found to be a liar.  Americans should remember this case of Pelosi’s accusations  and deceptions in November and force the lady to retire through defeat at the ballot box,  after her 22 years in the House of Representatives.  It is time for Pelosi to go home.

PRESIDENTIAL JIHAD: CONTROL OF CLIMATE DATA

In President Obama’s continuing efforts to financially break America, we find he wants to add yet one more agency to our already bloated federal government.  This latest example of Obama’s Jihad, or striving* is the creation of the NOAA Climate Service.

On Monday, February 8, Commerce Secretary, Mr. Gary Locke and the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Ms Jane Lubchenco, announced the creation of a new Climate Service to operate with the two already existing Commerce Department climate monitoring services:  the National Weather Service and the National Ocean Service.  

“Whether we like it or not, climate change represents a real threat,” Locke said Monday at the news conference.   Mr. Locke said changes to the Earth’s temperatures threaten to melt polar ice caps, raise sea levels, threaten farmers’ crops and change weather patterns .  This is the same man who, under Obama’s instructions, is seeking to change (to make more flexible) America’s export rules that are intended to prevent sensitive ‘dual-use’ technologies, such as airplane parts and computer encryption software from being exported to potential enemy countries to be used against America and our allies in military applications, to make these technologies easier to sell overseas.

NOAA recently reported that the decade of 2000-2009 was the warmest on record worldwide; the previous warmest decade was the 1990s. Many atmospheric scientists believe that global warming is largely due to human actions, adding gases to the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas.

“This service will be a vital part of our growing body of knowledge on climate change, and will be held to the highest standards of scientific integrity and transparency,” said Rep. Edward J. Markey, Massachusetts Democrat and chairman of the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming.

The NOAA Climate Service office, which requires congressional committee approval, has been under development for years and is not designed to stem controversies over the accuracy of climate data, according to NOAA officials. It will cull existing data and programs from various Commerce offices under one roof.

Most people are aware of the great controversy between the United Nations climate ‘scientists’, who are most probably providing the world with the largest and most expensive hoax in history about man-caused global warming, and the other, not so politically motivated climate scientists who show studies about the upcoming global cooling period before us.

Dr. Don Easterbrook, a geologist and professor emeritus at Western Washington University, has presented data that shows a cooler and wetter climate is in order for the next 25 to 30 years. The Pacific Ocean has a warm temperature mode and a cool temperature mode known as the Pacific Decadal Oscillation or PDO, he said in a recent study.

On the subject of ‘transparency’:  Didn’t President Obama promise that his administration was going to be the most ‘open and transparent’ in our Nation’s history?  Vice-President Biden recently held his closed-to-the-public, ‘transparency’ hearings, too.  There may be something less than reliable in the use of ‘open’ and ‘transparent’ when describing anything this Obama Administration is planning or doing.

Since President Obama is a big fan of ‘Cap & Trade’, having a dedicated climate science office under his control will be very convenient.  Maybe former Vice-President Al Gore will be brought in as a consultant; Gore has many years of climate science experience with his many lectures and frightening, so called documentaries and books.

The program’s transitional director will be Mr. Thomas R. Karl, currently the director of NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center. Mr. Karl has said:

“Internationally, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), under the auspices of the United Nations (UN), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), is the most senior and authoritative body providing scientific advice to global policy makers.”

President Obama seems to believe what the IPCC has written, as well; Mr. Karl is probably a good choice for this new organization.  President Obama will most likely get the climate data and analysis he seeks with this new Climate Service and be able to easily pass and impose his ‘Cap and Trade’ scheme of extreme taxation on the American people.

How is President Obama going to pay for this new organization?  The NOAA budget for 2008 was $3.907 Billion dollars and the 2009 budget showed a $4.374 Billion dollar budget, a $467 Million dollar increase in spending.  The 2010 budget for NOAA shows $4.484 Billion dollars, or an increase of nearly $110 Million dollars over the previous year.

President Obama continues to assemble the (un)building blocks of his plan to weaken and break America.  This new and expensive Climate Service is just what the President needs to spend a lot of money and be able to show cause to implement the very- expensive ‘Cap and Trade’ tax scheme.   Contact your Senators and Congressmen and do what you can to put a stop to this Obama plan.

* Jihad:  from the Qur’an, Sura: 25, verse 52 states: “Therefore, do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with this, a great striving.”  While it is unknown if President Obama is a Muslim, it is known that he grew up as a Muslim while living with his adoptive father, Mr. Soetoro (Obama’s Mother’s husband), in the Muslim country of Indonesia.

AMERICA’S VIRTUAL BORDERS (with video)

Not since President Reagan, has there been any serious attention to stopping illegal aliens from entering America.  Most Americans thought that after the Muslim Terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, our complacent federal government  would have awakened to the very real threat posed by our open borders.  President Bush(43) continued his same open borders policies throughout his two terms of office.  The threats to America’s safety from further Islamic attack are well documented.

In the wake of 9/11, Mara Salvatrucha attracted the attention of top al Qaeda officials, who realized that the gang could be used to smuggle operatives and weapons into the United States.  An agreement was forged between the terrorists and the gang-bangers. In exchange for safe passage across the border, al Qaeda – – through its cells in South America – – agreed to pay the Maras from $30,000 to $50,000 for each sleeper agent they managed to smuggle into the country with bogus matricula consulars.

 Matricula consulars are official identification cards that are issued by the Mexican government through its consular offices. The cards verify that the bearers are Mexican citizens who are living outside of Mexico with the government’s permission. (link)

 The FBI has long warned the Federal Government, state agencies, banks and businesses about the huge and active threats posed by fraudulent matricula consular cards.  These fake identification ‘documents’ are available for a little as $90 on the streets of Los Angeles, California.

What kind of numbers are we talking about when referring to this continuous invasion of America?  Some very conservative estimates are showing between 1,100 and 2,800 illegal aliens per day are entering our southern 2,000 mile border.  Illegal alien apprehension figures for 2005 show 1,200,000 were arrested by Border Patrol Agents.  The reality of arrest effectiveness is that fewer than 1 in 5 illegal aliens are caught; for every one that is caught 5-6 illegal aliens enter America.  The actual number of illegal aliens entering America each year is closer to 7,200,000 or about 19,700 per day!

The Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gangsters are ultra-violent and are known to cut-off the heads of government officials and their family members in Mexico and Central American countries.  MS-13 is making millions of dollars for the Mexican Drug Cartels by smuggling the Special Interest Aliens (SIAs) into America.  According to Sheriff D’Wayne Jenigan of Del Rio, Texas, thousands of Middle Eastern men of military age from:  Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria and Yemen illegally enter America each year and have been for many years.

The problem with Islamic SIAs is so significant that the government is seeking out Spanish-Arabic linguists and has ‘imported’ many from Southern Mexico to work with Border Patrol. 

The routes used by illegal aliens to enter the U.S. have become littered with discarded Muslim prayer blankets, pages from Islamic texts, and Arabic newspapers. Law enforcement officials have named such passageways “terrorists’ alleys” and a street leading north from the city of Douglas, Arizona, as “Arab Road.” (link) 

Even as President Obama knows of our porous borders, he has eliminated money from the border protection programs from the current 2011 Budget.  Representative Hal Rogers (R-Ky), who is the top Republican on the House panel that oversees the Dept. of Homeland Security’s budget, says funding specifically for border security is “woefully inadequate” and “as dangerous as it is indefensible.”  For example, the ‘virtual’ fence of camera/sensor towers will be even more of a fiction.  That electronic system that has had tens of millions of dollars spent but has not been effectively working in 6 years faces a $225 million dollar cut in funding.  Technical difficulties have delayed the implementation of this virtual system yet we continue to spend millions of dollars on this virtual bill of goods.  If the virtual fence is so good, why doesn’t the White House rely on one, instead of that unsightly physical fence?

As a result of the unsuccessful Muslim attack on Christmas Day, we learn that the 2011 DHS Budget has set aside money to buy 500 high-tech body scanners.  It has also come to our attention that the Muslim Jihadis on the way here to kill us via commercial airlines are going to be carrying surgically implanted body bombs with chemical initiation (no blasting caps or electronics or batteries).  For more information on this, please read our blog topic for 02/03/20-10.

In 2005, then-Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano (current DHS Secretary) declared a State of Emergency in order to get Federal funding in an effort to reduce the amount of drug and human smuggling on Arizona’s border.  DHS Secretary Napolitano’s spokesman, Bobby Whithorne says the 2011 budget “continues to supports smart, effective programs to strengthen border and interior security” while making “significant investments in aviation security.”

Our virtual border will continue to be as effective a barrier to the real invasion of our country as air is a barrier for the humans and vehicles that cross that imaginary line in the sand every day.  Until we install the effective barriers that were signed into law under the Bush (43)  Administration, we have no real border for our country.  There may be close to one hundred thousand Muslim sleeper cell members in America just waiting for that activation code in the email.  It is time for America to fully wake-up before the Jihadis do.

SARAH PALIN: CONSERVATIVE CENTER OF GRAVITY

From the moment she was discovered in 2008,  Sarah Palin has snow-balled into a Conservative center of gravity for the majority of Americans who treasure traditional values.  Later this week, the former Governor of Alaska will be speaking in Nashville, TN, at a Tea Party gathering.  “I look forward to meeting many Americans who share a commitment to limited government, common sense, and personal responsibility,” writes Palin (USATODAY Op-Ed). 

The Tea Party is a non-commercial, true grass-roots uprising consisting of Americans who are no longer willing to accept the governmental status quo or the current evolution to hyper-Big Government and Obama Marxism.

Sarah Palin’s willingness to actually follow-through with her Conservative principles, which include the protection of weaker Americans, once again found center stage.  President Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, was recently reported by the Wall Street Journal to have referred to attack-ads against fellow Democrats, as ‘f****ing retarded.”  Anyone would be outraged by such language, particularly from a public figure in high political office.  The Democrats like to portray themselves as being sensitive to the plight of special needs citizens but this faux concern is a lie.  It should be noted that Mrs. Palin’s youngest child, a boy named Trig, was born with Down’s Syndrome.

“Just as we’d be appalled if any public figure of Rahm’s stature ever used the “N-word” or other such inappropriate language, Rahm’s slur on all God’s children with cognitive and developmental disabilities – and the people who love them – is unacceptable, and it’s heartbreaking.”

Palin went on to demand Obama respond to the numerous condemnations of Emanuel’s remarks by advocates for the disabled.

Sarah Palin has lately taken President Obama to task for his inconsistancy with the truth.  When comparing Candidate Obama with President Obama we find that President Obama is not the man he claimed to be during the Presidential campaign.  Palin points out:

Critiquing the president’s first year in office, Palin declared that “candidate Obama over-promised; President Obama has under-delivered.”

“Candidate Obama promised us that his economic stimulus package would be targeted and pork-free, but President Obama signed a stimulus bill loaded with pork and goodies for corporate cronies,” Palin wrote. “Candidate Obama railed against Wall Street greed, but President Obama cozied up to bankers as he extended and expanded their bailouts.”

Sarah Palin is a person of the people of this country; she did not grow-up in the lap of luxury or in the environment of entitlement that many of the political elites enjoyed.  Instead, Palin understands the struggles of the majority of our citizens.  Palin values the family unit and traditional school subjects and the things that make a soverign country a nation.  As the radio personality, Michael Savage says, “borders, language and culture” are the keys to a united America and these are important principles for Sarah Palin, in addition to energy independence and a strong national defense.  Our national defense begins with tough border security and Palin is ready to make some changes we can believe in.
