THE REASON OBAMA (UN)FUNDS BORDER SECURITY

 Janet Napolitano (DHS Secretary) declared:  “Our proposed budget is designed to ensure we have the resources we need to secure America.  We are committed to strong fiscal discipline, eliminating redundancy and investing our resources in what works while enhancing security across the board.”  Other officials in Homeland Security said that $4.6 Billion dollars was set aside to fund 20,000 new Border Patrol Agents and finish the first section of the Virtual Fence. 

This was all a lie.

 February 3rd:  The truth is revealed about President Obama’s commitment to protecting our southern border.  The proposed cuts include the reduction of funding for the Virtual Fence and also in the number of Border Patrol Agents.  The E-Verify program will be largely unfunded, as well.

“The Republicans are expected to kick up a fuss over this latest effort to minimize the protection of U.S. borders. But, this is an election year and Democrats do not want to appear weak on security, especially when control of both houses of Congress is at stake,” said former NYPD detective and Marine intelligence officer Sid Frances.
 
“Look at it this way: New York City has a police department that numbers well over 40,000 officers and another 10,000 civilian employees, yet the U.S. Border Patrol agents, who are responsible for thousands and thousands of miles of border, number only 20,000. And Obama wants to cut that number,” said Frances, now the owner of a private security firm.

 “This is only the beginning,” said political strategist Mike Baker. “There will be more cuts made to Immigration and Customs Enforcement since President Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others have been critical of agents going after illegal workers. This budget is going to be all smoke and mirrors (emphasis added).”

 Now, here is the ‘Punch Line’: 

 Obama has had no intention of slowing down the mass exodus from Mexico; Obama sees ‘new voters’ in the millions of illegal aliens.  What enforcement is done is merely ‘eye wash’, to make the masses of ‘little people’ think that the federal government is protecting you.  One of the Labor Unions that owns President Obama is the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), they donated more than $16.5 MILLION DOLLARS to Candidate Obama and to oppose Candidate McCain.  Their goal is to grant citizenship to millions of illegal aliens in order to expand the Progressive‘s electorate and to ensure the Progressives maintain a large coalition for a long time (as in permanent).  It should be noted that Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, often proudly declares that she is a Progressive. Senator John McCain also refers to himself as a Progressive.  Are the Progressives trading our safety from terrorist attack for future votes from Mexican illegal aliens?

 “We reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters,” stated Eliseo Medina, international executive vice-president of  SEIU.   SEIU President Andrew Stern was the most frequently logged White House visitor, according to an official list released in October.

Medina and the SEIU are top supporters of Illinois Rep. Luis Gutierrez’s Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Bill, which seeks to document up to 12 million illegal immigrants inside the U.S. Medina was honored in 2004 by Chicago’s Democratic Socialists of America for his “vital role in the AFL-CIO’s reassessment of its immigration policy.”  Conservative estimates show the actual population of illegal aliens living in America is closer to 22,614,060 (as of 11:30 pm, February 3rd, 2010), fully 10 million more illegal aliens than the Progressives want to admit.

It almost seems like Big Labor is writing the legislation for U.S. Border Security.  President Obama seems preoccupied with his insatiable greed for power and about making America helpless to his Progressive Socialism he is forcing upon us.  I don’t think this is the “Change We Can Believe In” that most of Obam’s voters signed up for.    By Obama’s permitting SEIU to develop our national immigration policies, the President is able to out-source one more job that he is supposed to be doing. 

Our country is much less safe with Obama in office.  The President seems to have chosen his socialist agenda over protecting our borders.  Without any regard for Muslim terrorists crossing our borders to kill us (being smuggled into America by the same Mexican Cartels that supply illegal drugs and other illegal aliens), the President sees only 50,000 future voters each week, illegally entering this country.
